Dr. Schiesser's approach draws from his training in Internal Medicine, and the Biopsychosocial model originally developed at the University of Rochester.
He is a 1994 graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed a 3 year residency in Internal Medicine at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. In 2005, he obtained advanced certification to manage opiate dependence with Buprenorphine. Dr. Schiesser is the Medical Director for Pain Management Options in Bellevue, focusing on patients who have chronic pain and wish to access a broad range of multidisciplinary services and options other than traditional prescription opiates to manage their pain.
